The System
ZeroPoint OS
Five stages. Not a training log — the operating system behind every shot, and behind every repeatable standard under pressure.
"I was so far into the process, I had to be told I had finished."
There was no existing system built for this — no domestic peer, no established programme for an SH2 pathway to LA 2028. So the system had to be built.
ZeroPoint was built to solve one problem: performance that holds under pressure, on demand, without relying on how the day feels. It was built on the range, tested at international competition seven months after Kevin picked up the sport, and it applies with no material change to any environment where the standard has to be repeatable — a trading floor, an operations room, a boardroom under deadline.
01
Lock In The Outcome
The outcome is fixed before execution begins, and it's never adjusted midway. It's never softened if conditions get difficult. Once it's set, it doesn't move to accommodate how the moment feels.
This applies at every level. The long-range outcome — LA 2028, qualification, a podium — is fixed and doesn't shift. At the level of a single shot, what's locked in isn't a score. It's the standard of execution itself: the perfect process, defined before the shot is taken, never chased or renegotiated afterward.
02
Lock The Process
The method never changes under pressure. The same sequence, the same checks, the same preparation — run identically whether it's a training session or a Paralympic qualifier.
Pressure creates the temptation to change something — grip tighter, rush the setup, skip a check that feels unnecessary in the moment. The process is designed precisely to remove that temptation as a live decision.
03
Control The Environment
Within a single shot, there is no shot before and no shot after — there is only this shot. Every element within it is controlled and executed the same way, every time, with no new steps introduced mid-process. While execution is taking place, there is no analysis — only execution. Review, analysis, and adjustment happen only between shots, never during one.
This isn't about eliminating pressure. Pressure at international level is a constant, not a variable to be removed. It's about eliminating everything else — making sure nothing beatable is left to chance, so the process holds up under the testing of international pressure.
04
Feedback Loops
Every shot is measured and reviewed — not judged on feel, but on data. What the sight picture showed, what the shot group revealed, what changed between each shot.
Feedback stays on the data, not on emotion or external noise — crowd, heat, conditions. Only information relevant to improving the next shot is entertained. Training and practice are treated differently: training is where variables are tested and measured; practice is pure execution, with no analysis running alongside it.
05
100% Accountability
Full ownership of every result, always. No external explanation for a missed standard — wind, a bad night's sleep, a difficult range — is accepted as the final word on why a result fell short.
This is the stage that closes the loop. A missed score is reviewed only in terms of how to close the gap — never attributed to bad luck or conditions. The priority isn't refining what's already strong; it's raising what's falling short.
The Result
A System Built To Repeat, Not To Peak.
ZeroPoint isn't a plan for a good day. It's built to produce the same standard on the days that don't feel good — which is the only standard that means anything under competition pressure, or under any pressure.
