I’m Kevin Doyle — Ireland’s only active Para 10m Rifle shooter.
In early 2025, I began training with one goal: to master the shot.
In just four months, I’ve won every supported shooter match and even outscored able-bodied athletes in open competition.
But this journey isn’t about medals. It’s about the process — built on focus, discipline, and control.
I was diagnosed with central cord syndrome, which affects control in my legs and left arm. I shoot with my right arm only, using a spring-mounted support.
But I’ve never wanted to be defined by what I *can’t* do.
This sport — this process — demands focus, discipline, and truth. That’s what I train for.
This sport demands discipline, truth, and mental precision — not sympathy. If that resonates with you, keep reading.
No shortcuts. Just consistent daily work — even when nobody is watching. This is the foundation of everything.
Honest reflection. Real growth. The journey includes good days, frustrations, and everything in between — no pretending.
Adapting to challenge — physical, mental, technical. We overcome by showing up, staying calm, and doing the work anyway.
Breathing. Visualisation. Mental stillness. The shot starts long before the trigger is pulled.
For the sport. For coaches, competitors, and the journey. Respect means humility in learning and grace in performance.
This isn’t just about competition. It’s about who I become through the process. Every shot is a step forward.
Not perfection — but the daily pursuit of doing things the right way. I’m committed to high standards in everything I touch.
Mastery comes from within — not from new gear, magic tweaks, or shortcuts. The rifle will always tell the truth. My job is to train the shooter, not chase the setup.
Each day I train with intention — on the range, in visualisation, and in physical conditioning. I train 7 days a week and track every detail.
The rifle doesn’t care about excuses. It tells the truth. And the truth is in the process.
These aren’t just values. They’re lived, daily. This is how we train — and how we compete.
Want to help bring this mission to life? Whether you’re a potential sponsor, supporter, or just curious — I’d love to start a conversation.
